Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge 382

This was the perfect sketch challenge to help me get my creative "mojo" back.  I couldn't wait to play with all the goodies I got in my start kit.  I did decide to use some retired DSP called Big Top Birthday.  I have tons of retired DSP leftover from a couple years ago when I was stamping all the time.  I have to control myself at the moment and not order everything in the catalog...especially the new Occassions catalog.

I did receive one of the new stamp sets and corresponding framelits from the Occasions catalog - Celebrate Today with the Balloon Framelits Dies.  I LOVE this bundle and what a great way to get both items together to save 15%.  I decided to play this week's Mojo Monday Sketch 382 and really like how this card turned out.  It was a great opportunity to push me out of my comfort zone with respect to card size so I made a 3.5 x 5.5 size card.  It was easy to package it up to send out using Stampin' Up's envelope punch board (another goodie I got in my starter kit).

Ciao and Happy Stamping!

Trying to channel my creative juices

As I anxiously await my Stampin' Up! starter kit to arrive in the mail, I have been busy making cards again.  I have been making birthday cards, cards to say hello, and looking for reasons to get my fingers inky.

One of my besties has a birthday on Monday so I decided to whip together a card for her.  We both love cycling so I had to break out one of my favorite stamp sets that I can't part with - Life Cycles.  I did use several retired items in this card and will most likely continue to dip into my current supply since I can't buy everything in the new catalog...yet!

I am looking forward to sharing more projects on my blog.  You can also follow me on Pinterest (The Stamp Cycle) and on Instagram as well.

I'm BACK!!

After almost two years away from paper crafting, I am happy to say that I am back at it.  I moved in with my now finance and had to give up my craft room so I was unable to continue my Stampin' Up! demonstrator status.  However my awesome soon to be hubby realized how much I needed that creative outlet and that I missed it so much, we were able to carve out a space for me to start stamping again.  I couldn't be happier!

To add to my excitement, I also re-signed up to become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!  Woohoo!  I am hoping to expand my business from just being a hobby crafter to actually having a small business.  I love sharing my passion for paper crafting and helping people create their own projects.

Not only will 2015 bring big things like my wedding, but I am excited to be back doing some of the things that I love the most and make me a happy girl!

Happy Stamping!
