Mojo Monday Blog Challenge 386

I needed to make a card for my cousin and his wife who just had twins.  I knew I wanted to incorporate the bow builder punch that just arrived this week after being on backorder.  I used the Mojo Monday 386 blog challenge to inspire my card.

The challenge was tall and skinny which I always love being pushed to create card sizes outside of my normal 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I can't seem to create a card without using the Hello You thinlit dies.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Friday!

Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day wishes to all of my readers! I hope everyone had a wonderful day filled with lots of love from family and friends. I wanted to share the card that I made for my fiancé.  I've been wanting to make one of the box cards that I've been seeing a lot of examples of and came up with this design for a Valentine's Day card.

Card details:  I used real red card stock with some retired DSP paper. I used the heart punch to create red and silver hearts with glitter paper.  I made a matching belly band to hold the car together.

Happy Stamping!

Using up the old paper

I needed to make a birthday card for a friend and decided to continue to use up some of my retired paper. I am in LOVE with the Hello You thinlit dies and the Crazy About You stamp set. You can get this bundle with 15% off if bought separately. There are so many things you can do with this set.

Here is the card I created. I used retired color Concord Crush (which I loved this rich purple color) and retired DSP.
