I have been trying to finish this card since yesterday and finally put the final touches on it. I created this watercolor background using the "smooshing" technique with cherry cobbler and old olive inks. After I made the background, I really struggled with how to finish the card. Here's a close up of the background so you can see the watercolor effect:
After playing with several options, I decided on the heat embossed snowflake images stamped on vellum from the stamp set Flurry of Wishes. I heat embossed the snowflakes in white and gold to pick up the gold paint flecks in the background.
I added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and added the white embossed sentiment on old olive cardstock to complete the card.
Hope everyone is ready for the weekend! What are your plans? We are attending my company's holiday party tomorrow in Charlotte and then to the Panthers football game on Sunday! So excited to see if my team can make it to 13-0!
Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!
