Stampin Up Birthday Fiesta Card for Mojo Monday #461

Hi there stampers and happy hump day!  For today's card I am playing along over on the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge to create this fun birthday card using Birthday Fiesta bundle from Stampin Up!  The sketch for this week is below:

I started with a piece of whisper white cardstock cut to 4.25 x 5.5 and used several images from the Birthday Fiesta stamp set to create my own patterned paper.  I used the catus and two flower images from the set and stamped the entire piece using emerald envy, melon mambo, and crushed curry inks. I then stamped the llama image in soft suede and added the blanket pattern using melon mambo.  I used the coordinating Fiesta Time Framelits to cut the llama out.

I then inked up an entire paper doily using the emerald envy stamp pad and cut a circle from melon mambo cardstock using the retired circle framelits.  I then inked up the edges of the melon mambo circle with some emerald envy using a sponge.

I cut down the patterned piece to 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 and adhered the doily to the center using Tombow Multipurpose glue.  I adhered the melon mambo circle using some snail adhesive.  I then stamped the  sentiment onto a piece of vellum using versamark ink and heat set the sentiment with copper embossing powder.  I adhered the vellum onto the front of the card by folding the sides to the back and using masking tape to hold the sides down.  I adhered the llama to the front with dimensionals.

I adhered the entire piece to an A2 top folding card base made from emerald envy cardstock.  I then added some Wink of Stella to the blanket on the llama to give the card more bling and shine.  That finished the card.  To see how I made the card, you can watch my video in HD on my YouTube channel HERE, or watch below:
